so, this past weekend was the long awaited, much anticipated bansee family reunion. my grandma and her sister are up this summer visiting their kids, and my mom rounded up cousins from far and wide to join us on sunday for a weekend of fun events. i met family for the first time, which was kind of fun! my mom has a billion cousins - and they all have kids, so just imagine....we had about 40 people on sunday at the event, which is just a small percentage of the fam, but it was small enough that you could meet everyone and chat it up. all in all it was a great weekend...here's a picture of me at the reception hall - more pics can be found on facebook!

bah the office today is SUPER QUIET. i could hear a pin drop in here. just four more days, FOUR MORE DAYS till i'm done! it's been good while it lasted, but i'm just about ready to get back into school mode...i kinda can't wait! oooh and my new laptop should be arriving sometime...maybe later rather than sooner, but i'm excited! a laptop of my very own...i'm sure pictures will be posted once it arrives, but don't hold your breath - estimated arrival date: mid september.
